Process
Do superheroes have bad days, too?
We don’t teach children, we journey with them. Soaring on wings over magical lands, or just deep dives into their everyday lives. From figuring out superhero quandaries like the one above, (the answer, of course, is yes, they do) to dissecting social media addiction. During our sessions, children explore, question, create, and revel in playfulness in a safe, supportive space. Each child moves through his or her unique journey of continuous learning, communication and creative thinking. They use tools like dramatic play, literature and art, movement and improv, puppetry and writing, collaboration and feedback. And all the time they think they’re just having fun!

…These workshops have helped her find her voice outside drama as well. Simran is a remarkable teacher who is very patient with the kids and knows how to bring out the best in them…

...Simran and her theater group talespinners is one of the exceptional team i have come across! My daughter started with her when she was 5! She is 12 today and I’ve seen her growth from playing different characters in the plays to being an assistant director and now learning the craft and helping the team behind the curtains! It has been a beautiful and the most memorable journey!..

…The journey not only brought growth in my kids but in me as well, with her its its not only about theatre and performance, the entire process with which she takes kids through is so unique and unconventional. The process is Imaginative, enriching and evolving. Children learn the "joy of being wrong"and I learned that "to learn you have to unlearn"…

...The way you allow children to maneuver their own lines, characters, and storylines through self-expression and emotion has given them a wonderful platform to exhibit their creativity with flair. Your focus on avoiding scripted memorization makes the experience natural and fun, helping them overcome stage fright without the stress of mugging up scripts. I’m truly thankful for the love and support you've provided them over the years...

…I think that’s where Simran comes in. She told me years later that while Ahana was so quiet and by herself initially, she never pushed Ahana and made her so comfortable that even those one or two scenes were so important for Ahana that she gave it her all. With Simran you can’t just do one workshop and hope for a miracle. The child will love it, but to see what difference she can make, you have to walk miles with her. I didn’t know my daughter could change her voice so beautifully until I saw her do multiple characters on stage in one play…
